Promotion Terms
The following Merchant Promotion Terms are specific to the Merchant Promotion above:
  • The offer commences at 00:00 hrs (GMT +8) on 18 January 2018 and ends at 23:59 hrs (GMT +8) on 19 April 2018 (“Offer Period”).
  • The offer is open to individuals aged 18 years or older who hold a basic American Express® Singapore Airlines KrisFlyer Credit Card, KrisFlyer Ascend Credit Card, PPS Club Credit Card and Solitaire PPS Credit Card issued in Singapore by American Express International Inc. ("Eligible Cards"). To qualify, Card Member’s account must be current and in good standing during the offer period. American Express may at its sole discretion, at any time (and from time to time) amend the list of Eligible Cards.  
  • Register your Eligible Card online to enjoy the offer.  Earn a S$150 Statement Credit by using your registered Card when you spend S$500 or more on Qualifying Purchases at participating  hotel properties (“Offer”). Redeem the offer once per participating hotel property. Qualifying Purchases include accommodation, food and beverages and other incidentals during your stay which are paid at the hotel front desk at the time of check-out during the Offer Period. Pre-authorisation amounts taken at check-in are not considered eligible for the Offer.   • Booking or room reservations must be made directly via any “Hilton booking Channel”. Booking channels include: Hilton Honors Customer Care (Call Centre), online channel (for example, HiltonHonors.com, Hilton.com, Hampton.com, etc.); directly on premise with the hotel; or through an IATA accredited retail travel agent professional ("IATA Travel Agent") booking through a Hilton channel or the following Global Distribution Systems: Amadeus, Apollo/Galileo, Worldspan and SABRE.
  • Exclusions to offer: Offer is not valid by booking or reserving a room through any other channels such as travel agencies or travel agents (other than an IATA Travel Agent); Advance purchases made through online aggregators including without limitation Expedia, Hotels.com, Agoda.com  are excluded and gift card purchases are excluded.
  • Offer is limited to the first 30,000 Eligible Cards which are successfully registered during the Offer Period.
  • Each Card Member is only entitled to receive up to a maximum Statement Credit of S$150 per Registered Card per participating property. 
  • Offer only applies to spend on registered Card. Supplementary Cards must register separately and spend cannot be combined to meet the minimum spend requirement of S$500.
  • If a Card Member loses his/her Registered Card ("Lost Card") and applies for a replacement Card ("Replacement Card"), he/she will need to register the replacement Card with the new Card number. 
  • Purchases not directly made at the participating properties or through the channels as described above will not be eligible for this offer. For example, purchases made through a third party payment processor like PayPal or advance purchases made through online aggregators like Expedia, Hotel.com or other Travel Agents.
  • All rates are charged at local hotel currency and will be converted to Singapore dollars based on rate of exchange at time of charge and must meet the offer spend requirement of S$500 (after conversion) in order to qualify for the Statement Credit.
  • Statement Credits are not redeemable for cash or other payment forms.
  • The Statement Credit should appear on your billing statement within 5 days after meeting the offer spend requirement but may take up to 90 days from 19 April 2018.
  • The Statement Credit may not be applied to your Card Account if it has been suspended or cancelled and may be reversed if qualifying purchase is returned or cancelled.
  • The Statement Credit may be reversed if your Qualifying Purchase is refunded or cancelled.

A. The Offer                                        
Register your Card for the offer and spend the required amount in accordance with the offer description during the offer period to receive your account credit or bonus points.  
The offer description is displayed to you when you register for the offer.  After you register your card for the offer, you can continue to access the offer description and terms until the end of the offer period by re-visiting the email or page from where you registered for the offer 

B. Eligible Cards
Not all cards are eligible for this offer.  If your card is ineligible, you will receive an error message and you will not be able to register for the offer.  
Corporate, business travel, government and store cards are not eligible.
Replacement Cards: If you are issued a replacement card with a new card number after registration, your participation in this offer will end & you will need to re register for the offer.

Supplementary Cards: If you have multiple American Express Cards, including a Supplementary Card, a separate registration is required for each Card. Any Basic and Supplementary Card Members who directly register their Cards and spend amounts with American Express will be eligible for the Offer, irrespective of the fact that the basic Card Member pays for the supplementary Card Members’ charges

C. Transactions that are not eligible                                
The following transactions are not eligible and will not count towards your spend for the purposes of the offer: 
  • transactions where you do not spend directly with the merchant (for example, if you buy the merchant’s goods through a third party department store (for example, Takashimaya);
  • transactions that are subsequently cancelled or refunded;
  • transactions where the merchant does not pass on the information we need to process it properly within the offer period (for example, when their payment systems are down and they cannot process the transaction electronically)
  • transactions where you buy a gift card, store credit or a voucher.

D. Credit & Points    
Credits or points should be credited to your account within 5 business days of you meeting the offer spend requirement – however this can take up to 90 days from the offer end date.  Your credits or points may be reversed if an eligible transaction is subsequently cancelled or refunded.  If your card is suspended or cancelled, we do not credit your account with credit or points even if you have met the offer spend criteria.  
For bonus points offers, you must be enrolled in the relevant loyalty program and have an active loyalty account to receive the points.  

E. Your account payments
You must continue to make all payments to your card account in full when they are due.  If you don’t, your participation in the offer may be cancelled. 

F. Privacy and Security 
We use your personal information such as name, account number and transaction information to manage your participation in the offer and track your spend. We will only ever use your personal information strictly in accordance with the American Express(r) Singapore Online Privacy Statement. 

G. Fraud/Gaming/Glitches
American Express reserves the right to suspend or cancel the offer if any fraud or gaming by users, technical failure or any other factors outside our control impairs the integrity or proper functioning of the offer which may result in any loss or damage to American Express.  We will try to give you reasonable notice of any such incident and take reasonable steps to ensure you are not unfairly impacted if the incident is due to something we have done or failed to do. 
American Express reserves the right, at its sole discretion, to disqualify any individual suspected of fraud, gaming the offer or any breach of the Offer Terms.  

H. Changes 
American Express reserves the right to vary any eligibility criteria or Offer Terms, prior to you registering your Card for the offer.
